Allison Dejan

I appreciate the way that most CrossFit movements can be scaled and adapted to those who may not have an athletic background, have mobility issues, or are unaware of their strengths. We all have to get up and down, lift things, push things, and pull things everyday, so why not learn how to do that efficiently?
Coach
Allison spent years swimming, biking and running all over New Orleans and beyond and didn't think CrossFit was for her when she first heard about it. After completing Ironman Wisconsin, she began to open up to the idea of functional fitness. For Christmas of 2012, she received Fundamentals with Liz and began 2013 with crappy looking air-squats and without a kip in sight. That all soon changed. Since leaving the world of triathlon behind, Allison focused on CrossFit and decided to share her experiences and passion for lifting heavy stuff with others. Allison has lived in New Orleans since June of 2005, received her MPH from Tulane in 2008, and has spent the last decade working in preventive health.
