Eric McDonald

"The CrossFit NOLA Community is awesome and I wouldn't trade it for anything!"
Coach
Eric McDonald got into CrossFit in June 2010 because he was sick of the same-old-same-old at the $19.month gym. He recalls, "Those gyms got my engine stronger and my body in better shape, but it was so boring! I mean, yeah you'd rotate shoulders, arms, legs, but it still got really tiring." Eric's friend told him about CrossFit-- she said it was like bootcamp! Instructor-led group classes that were really intense, changed every day,and only lasted an hour. He went to a free class where they had the class do Karen (150 WB for time), and it kicked his butt so bad that he couldn't even push the clutch in to start the car. He was hooked. He's been CrossFitting ever since, trying to lose the Q-bridge jiggle and improve every day.

Certifications Include:
  • CrossFit Level 1
  • CrossFit Level 2
  • CrossFit Weightlifting
  • CrossFit Movement and Mobility
  • American Red Cross CPR/AED

Favorite Cheat Meal: Company burger, followed by the ridiculously awesome Chocolate Mousse log from Costco

Fun Fact: Eric proudly watches Judge Judy every day.

Thanks for visiting! See you at the Gym!
