As you guys have noticed the gym can get pretty crowded during peak times. In order to keep things running smoothly and keep people from being wait-listed we are going to be increasing the class size slightly and are going to add an assistant during some of these times to help get more eyeballs on you during classes. We are also going to be eliminating 6:30 am fundamentals on T and Th uptown so we can keep the group classes running smoothly.
As an added incentive, if you should no show for a 5:30 or 6:30 am class you signed up for, and the class is full and wait-listed, you will have a 100 burpee penalty the following day. Meaning - please cancel your class asap if you are not going to make it, even more important during a peak time.
What this means is, that during these busy times, usually
4:30 pm (sometimes),
especially on Mondays and Tuesdays, we are going to ask that you respect the classes and do not do you own workout at this time.
What this means for you: If you are not particpaitng in the class, have not signed up, or you are doing your own workout, during one of these peak times mentioned above, you will be asked to postpone your training until the class is done, or attend the next class.
We have open gym times uptown on pretty much a daily basis from 7:30 am - 9 am or 1pm-3 pm which are good alternatives if you want to get into the gym for supplemental work. Midcity also has more room than uptown, which can accommodate you for your own training, but again, be sure not to disturb the classes.
This will be enforced on an as needed basis, meaning if you show up at 6:30 am and the class is full, you will not be allowed to do you own training. You will have to wait until the 6:30 class is finished before you can begin. If the class is not full, we may make an exception, but don't bank on this regularly.
