If you've been hearing about Powerlifting class but are afraid of jumping in during a cycle, now's your chance! This SUNDAY at 9AM, we'll have Powerlifting Fundamentals. If you haven't attended at least one of each Max Effort Squat, Max Effort Bench, Dynamic Effort Squat, and Dynamic Effort Bench days, you must attend this class first. (Hint, if you don't know what I'm talking about, you should sign up on MindBody!) If you can't make this week's session, fear not, we'll have these periodically to open up the class to new members. This will ensure proper form and technique during class times.
Normal Powerlifting classes this week for members who have attended regularly are 5:3opm Friday, 9am Saturday (not 8:45am anymore!), and 10am Sunday. ALSO--we're ordering t-shirts! Front will say "CF NOLA Barbell Club" Back will say "Swolier Than Thou" (Thanks to Mark O for the idea!). Post name and t-shirt size to comments, or email Rae (raeshih@gmail.com). $25. DC the schedule is pretty set b/c of equipment limitations from other classes. Tuesday 7:30pm, 5:30pm Friday, 9am Saturday, and 10am Sunday. It's a full program, not unrelated WODs, so coming all 4 days is advised.
