How did you hear about CrossFit and what was your first experience/WOD?
I live three blocks away, and I would see people running down the street past my house. And about six months before that, I had bought dumbbells to work out by myself. It seemed to me that everyone running down the street was in pretty good shape. So one day I walked in the gym and talked to Jeff, and joined. He said look up “Crossfit” on the internet, and I did.
When did you first come to CrossFit NOLA?
I started three days after that [talking to Jeff].
What CrossFit accomplishment are you the most proud of?
My most recent PRs (Back squat, bench, front squat and strict press) – 4 PRs in two weeks!
If there was any CrossFit movement that you could choose to never do again, what would it be?
Double unders! Cause I can’t.
After a hard workout, what is your favorite meal?
Everything. Right now, it’s a date and walnut cake from Spain.
On a Saturday night, where could we typically find you?
Grilling in my backyard with about 10 of our closest friends and their and our kids.
What is one goal that you are currently working on that you will accomplish before the end of 2012? Muscle-up. I’ve already accomplished two of my other yearly goals (bench 165 and back squat 250).
