2. Join a Fundamentals Path
Group Fundamentals
Group classes are exciting, and fun. This is the most common route for new members. You will meet at the same time and same place for 3 weeks of classes!

Sometimes your schedule does not work with group fundamentals, or you want to go at your own pace. Join one of our coaches for a personalized onboarding experience!

Getting Started FAQ
Do I need fundamentals?
On occasion, we have folks contact us that say they would like to skip the Fundamentals classes because they are already in great shape or because they have done CrossFit before.
That’s great! But, you are going to have to prove it. We want to ensure that you absolutely know what you are getting into. If you feel the course described above is too remedial and you are confident in your fitness and ability and movement proficiency, we provide an option for you to Test Out of the Fudamentals classes. This can be done with a Test Out assessment session. They are scheduled by appointment only and cost $30.
At your assessment, you will be required to perform the following 9 movements proficiently and narrate their primary points of performance: 9 Foundational movements; squat, front squat, over-head squat, dead lift, sumo deadlift high pull, med ball clean, shoulder press, push press, push jerk…as well as the back squat, the clean & jerk and the snatch. After that, you will have 12 minutes to complete “Jackie” which is Row 1000m, 50 Thrusters (45lb Barbell) and 30 Pullups. Pullups may be assisted with medium to light bands.

How much does it cost?
Fundamentals is $199 for 6 hours of class (either 6 x 1 hour, or 3 x 1.5 hour). Private Fundamentals is $199 for 3 x 1 on 1 sessions.
Do I need to be "in shape"
Nope! All you need to do is show up! We all have to start somewhere, and CrossFit is the most efficient use of your time to get in better shape. Don't waste time trying to get in shape before you join fundamentals, you will be surprised how much better you feel after only 3 weeks of fundamentals!
Have limitations?
If you have physical limitations or have had issues finding an appropriate exercise program due to physical limitations, we can work with you. Our coaches are experts at customizing workouts and prescribing exercises appropriate for your current abilities and limitations. They can also provide suggestions and instruction for corrective exercises and mobility/activation work to ensure that individuals feel confident in both private and group coaching environments.
